I just want to inform my fellow players from Hera/Athena server that I'll be playing GodsWar on and off now, sad to say that I really can't play normally (for 2 months now actually) due to my ISP having some trouble with their base station that leads to slow connection (both download and upload), and of course that also affects my whole online activity :D. It's just lucky for me to finish half of my daily quest anyhow.

However, I'll still visit my lovely server sometimes to check for new updates. Right now, I'm making some fan stuff like my current project which is the database system thing (Hope to finish soon :D). I'll still continue to communicate with you through forums and will state my thoughts if there's any.

I'll just free up some space to my real world and do something else (Maybe I'll help my cousing developing Ragnarok Online for awhile >:D). This has nothing to do with the game actually, I have no complain or negative reactions about it :P

Be sure to delete your Temporary Internet Files whenever I post an update list every week.

To delete, (Windows) go to Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Internet Option then under Browsing History, click Delete button and leave the Temporary Internet Files checked and all other checkbox unchecked then click Delete button.

I will not post any update list for maybe 2 weeks since I'm still collecting informations and designing each db plugins.

Ok I'll just make this short since I'm not in the mood to introduce this guide at all because the title says it all LOL

Preparing Materials Needed

I will state all the materials I've used before, but you may also use other converters or animators to your liking. Find a solution on how to get a full version of each softwares yourself for better use. Now download and install all the required files below.

• Small VideoSoft Freez Screen Video Capture - Freez Screen Video Capture is a tool to record screen activities and sounds as standard AVI video files. **Required**

• Bitsoft 123 AVI to GIF Converter - Convert AVI clips to user-defined GIF animation, and convert animated GIF images to an AVI file. **Required**

• Longtion GIF Animator - GIF Animator allows you to create or edit animated GIF files for your Web pages easily. **Optional**

Main Guide

It's time now to make your own custom gif avatar. Let's assume that you've already installed all required softwares stated above.

Open and ready the scene you want to capture and to be converted as GIF. Let's say your Online Game Character or whatsoever.

Setting up Small VideoSoft Freez Screen Video Capture device.

Open Small VideoSoft Freez Screen Video Capture (Fig.01) and configure the Video Options to set the video size (If you're making an avatar, please choose the dimension that fits the forum or whatever site's maximum avatar dimension.). Now click Options (Fig.02)

Configure the Region Settings. Select Normal Region if you want to customize the video capture dimension by dragging over the scene and select the Fixed Region to set a fixed video capture dimension.

Configure Video Settings. Select your video compressor (Leave as it is if you don't know what you are doing.) and set the quality of the video to your likings

Configure Audio Settings. Check the Record Audio check box if you want to record the audio transmitted to the device. Uncheck if you don't want to.

Configure Hotkeys. You may also configure the hotkeys for easy capturing leave it as it is if you don't know what you are doing. Now check the Minimize on start recording.

Click OK when you're done configuring the device.

Now you're ready to capture a scene. Ready the scene you want to capture and hit F7 to start recording and hit F8 to stop recording then save it as AVI file format.

Setting up Bitsoft 123 AVI to GIF Converter device.

Open Bitsoft123 AVI to GIF Converter and open your newly created AVI video. Settings at the left are very self explanatory.

When you're done configuring the settings, press Make GIF button below and wait till it finish, a preview will popup in your browser after the converting process is done. Click OK to preview or cancel if you don't want to.

Result

So there, congratulations... you now have your own personal gif from your favorite Online Game. Just drop a question if you have any. Take note, this is not only for Online Games but for all that you can see in your desktop's monitor or laptop's screen XD
